Best of the Beast è il titolo della prima raccolta ufficiale della band inglese Iron Maiden.

L'album é stato pubblicato nel 1996 in tre diversi formati: 1 CD con 16 tracce, 2 CD con 27 tracce e vinile con 34 tracce (quest'ultima versione è ormai diventata rarissima). L'album ripercorre tutta la saga degli Iron Maiden partendo dall'inedito Virus, pubblicato come singolo, fino al The Soundhouse Tapes, prima incisione della band, passando anche da alcune versioni dal vivo tratte dal Live After Death.
