Marriage in most parts of the world is the legal union of one man and one woman. In some countries, a man can also be legally married to as many as four wives. In the last few years, a few countries have changed the law to allow two men or two women to get married, even though most other countries do not recognise this.
In Indian culture marriage is considered to be holy and divine and is a union of Goddess "Laxmi" and God "Narayan".
