California's 32nd congressional district covers part of Los Angeles County, notably East Los Angeles and Monterey Park. It is one of 53 California Congressional Districts. The current Representative for this district is Democrat Hilda Solis.

John Kerry received 62% of the vote in this district in 2004; George W. Bush received 37%.[1] The district voted for Phil Angelides 54-41.5% in 2006,[2] Dianne Feinstein 68-27% in 2006,[3] Barbara Boxer 68-26% in 2004,[4] recalling Gray Davis 50.2-49.8%[5] and Arnold Schwarzenegger 42-41.9%[6] in 2003, and Davis 59.5-32% in 2002.[7]
