WrestleMania XIX
Just to let you know, I've finished the Angle/Lesnar feud for WrestleMania XIX. The only thing I didn't do is source it. I hope you're okay with this. If not, let me know and you can rewrite it yourself. Thanks. --LAX 22:42, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- PWWEW.net, 411mania.com, and OWW.com. I you'd like, I could source it later. --LAX 22:47, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- I will, either later tonight or tomorrow. --LAX 23:06, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- I know we've talked about this before and I don't want to start a conflict between us, but is it really necessary to include the year ever time when mentioning the date (ie. March 20 → March 20, 2003)? --LAX 01:51, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I will, either later tonight or tomorrow. --LAX 23:06, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
The BG is really my forte. I might need some help with the aftermath, but I think I pretty much got it down. --LAX 20:25, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's cool. I'm currently reading for information on the McMahon/Hogan feud. --LAX 20:37, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Alright. I'm still reading and should have the first feud in soon. --LAX 21:05, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- 'kay. I'm goin' kind of slow with the BG, but I'll have it in, don't worry. --LAX 21:36, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- No doubt about it. --LAX 21:45, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- You think that'll be alot, check out SummerSlam. It's got 74 sources total, with 40 of those in the background section alone. --LAX 21:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Is what I have right now good so far? --LAX 22:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

- Oh, okay. Well, pick one or the other. --LAX 00:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- No. I'm sorry for deleting the Owen pic. Endlessdan pointed out to me that it is more than likely a fan photo and that WWE doesn't own the copyright (see here for the discussion). --LAX 00:18, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

- Looks good based on a quick scan. Is it okay if I finish the background and aftermath tomorrow? I'll make it my top priority. --LAX 00:41, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. ;) --LAX 00:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. Truco, you've just made made day. --LAX 00:55, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Look good. Great job sourcing it. --LAX 01:02, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Could you please help me find when the McMahon/Hogan match became a street fight? I've been reading, and I'm lost. O_o --LAX 13:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was reading that over and over again, and I guess it slipped my eye. BTW, the brand extension look really nice, great job. --LAX 15:00, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I know. I was confused when I saw nothing there, so I looked at your contributions and saw that you were working on it in your sandbox. Right now I'm working on the background for Unforgiven for Blue, but later I will finish on the background and start the aftermath. --LAX 15:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

HHH
Oh. Okay so, for example, this is the current text: The Hell in a Cell match between Shane and Vince McMahon and the Big Show versus D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) was up next. DX took the advantage in the match, as they were able to get the upper hand over the McMahons and Big Show. Back and fourth action took place between the teams. During the length of the match, Triple H wrapped a chair around Shane's neck, which followed with Michaels hitting an elbow drop onto the chair, which resulted in Shane being injured. DX pulled Big Show's trunks down, after Michaels hit Big Show with Sweet Chin Music and shoved the elder McMahon's head up Big Show's buttocks. DX won the match, after Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music, which was followed by Triple H hitting McMahon with a sledgehammer and covering him for the win. I should replace HHH with ----> During the length of the match, Triple H wrapped a chair around Shane's neck... which was followed by HHH hitting McMahon with a sledgehammer and covering him for the win. Do I have it right? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:10, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, like Triple H (HHH)? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:15, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll get to it. Question: How does Vengeance '05 look? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:25, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm on it. Question: Does the same date need to be linked twice? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:35, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah cause, on the Batista and Triple H feud "June 6" is mentioned and then on the Cena, Christian and Jericho feud "June 6" is mentioned again. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:38, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I feel you. ;) Hey, later can I run Unforgiven '03 through you? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:49, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well, you know the basics and stuff. Here's a nickname from me to you ---> The PPV Genius. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- I know, its sad. :( I hope we don't "break-up" and just see the Kliq fall before our very eyes. Alright, here you go ---> The main feud heading into Unforgiven was between Triple H and Goldberg battling for the World Heavyweight Championship. On the August 3 edition of Raw, Co-General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin, announced an Elimination Chamber match for SummerSlam, in which Triple H would have to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Kevin Nash. At Summerslam, the Elimination Chamber match came down to Triple H and Goldberg. Though, it saw Triple H win the match, after he hit Goldberg with a sledgehammer. Does it work? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:02, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Made the change. Umm, I really don't like adding the year, but if it needs to be added, then I'll add it. IDK, I'm neutral on it. Do you add the year? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:10, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay, how does the Background look so far for Unforgiven '03. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Umm, I'm pretty sure that's what happen in the Kane and Shane match. But yeah. I wanna run this through you. Triple H threw Goldberg a Going Away party does that work? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:21, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Better wording, thanks for the update. Are you serious? Okay, I'll go and remove the years. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:28, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

- I'm just saying, cause, what happens if I "take a break" and the article is being reviewed and it fails. It'll break my heart. But, nice to know you will have my back on it. ;) Thanks, man. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I just took a glance on it and I hope that's the same thing with Unforgiven. IMO, I think I gave my best efforts on the PPV. Maybe after, I'll get Unforgiven '03 to the GA list. ;) P.S. Is it 11 over there in Maryland? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Nevada and lucky you. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:18, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Cool then. I just wanted to let you know, cause that's what it says here. Peer review
Hi, Truco. I've added the third feud to the background section. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Also, I appreciate your comments at the Vengeance peer review. Zenlax T C S 20:51, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Great. Then I'll wait for the automated peer review. I'd like to apologize for not working on Over the Edge (1998), I know that I gave you my word that I would of helped you expand it, but I've been busy with other expansions. If you need help on anything, please don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talkpage. Zenlax T C S 21:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Brand Extension
It looks pretty good to me. Maybe shorten the length of the "Notes" section of the table though. TJ Spyke 05:38, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Administrator
Are you ready for a nomination yet? I believe you are, but it's obviously up to you if you'd like to be nominated. You're 5 edits away from 5000 edits (as of this message). What do you think about this? iMatthew 2008 00:34, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Do you think you might be a good Admin? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:19, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think you would. But, one thing that would stand out would be your "feuds" with Mshake and other users. You did have a conflict with Mshake, right? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:26, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Jeez, Truco. Calm down. Yeah, that would also stand out. But, you might have it better than me, since I was blocked three times, when I was Zerorules677. If I were you, I would wait a while. As I am waiting for the 10,000 edit mark. Just, try to calm down in situations. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I guess, that's just me. But, who knows, you might get the green light on it. Hey, can you check if my feud between Shane McMahon and Kane is written well. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:47, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that you would be a great admin. Maybe if you could try to settle your differences with Mshake. Offer to be friends, and if he declines, you can always say that you tried. iMatthew 2008 01:58, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sure. Which one did you have in mind? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:20, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm not "feuding" with you. I'm just annoyed with many (most?) of your edits and reasoning. Remember Armageddon? Gah! And seriously, will my opinion of you really have any effect on your application to be an admin? Of course not. I'm just another editor. Who cares what I think? Mshake3 (talk) 05:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry but I don't know what you on indenting is that were you get bak to a user like RE: adoption? O hey I want you to look for me next week on RAW on March third in Indianapolis, is it O.K if I hold a sign that say's Hey Truco? Steelerfan-94 17:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- O.K I am either sitting at section six or eight I think eight I need to ask my mom, but look for a white semi tall kid that has a "Ruck fules" shirt on, I think the sign is going to say Hey Matt and Kevin!! what do you think? Steelerfan-94 19:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- O.K I think green I still have to go to Wall*Mart today after I help my family unpack 'cause we just moved to Clearwater, Florida, I had to use my dads cellphone yesterday. So do you want it to say Kevin or Truco is (is that like your middle name?). Have you ever been to a WWE event? Steelerfan-94 16:17, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
RE:My expertise
It looks pretty good. Wait until it is finished first, as the Aftermath section still needs to be filled in. Nikki311 01:57, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- 1)The article in the sandbox looks good enough to move to mainspace. 2)As for adminship, I had over 16,000 edits when I decided to accept the nomination. The more edits = the better. Also, a lot of people will oppose because of your past disagreements, including some evidence of losing your cool. I'd suggest putting some more time between the incident and an RfA. I also can think of a few users who oppose unless you have contributed to at least one Featured Article. Lastly, I'd like to see some more evidence that you know, understand, and follow the polices of Wikipedia. While all that isn't necessary, it will give you (and anyone else you may know who is considering a run at adminship) something to think about. 3)There is a lot of whitespace in the tables in the WWE Brand Extension. I'm not sure about a way to solve that problem, but it might be worth looking in to. Other than that, there are a few MoS problems but nothing to major. Nikki311 04:11, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

IDK. I saw the discussion at WT:PW. I agree with Naha and believe that someone hacked into their website, because there no way WWE would post something about their rival company, TNA. --Cheers, LAX 21:24, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

This Weekend
Cross posted to other Kliq members
I propose that this weekend:
-
- We stop all of the projects we are currently working on, and work on SummerSlam (2002), Survivor Series (2003), and Royal Rumble (2008). Those have been on hold for too long. They need to be finished.
- We ask NimiTize to help us finish these projects, and judging by his edits, we can make a decision on whether we want him in the Kliq, or we don't. iMatthew 2008 22:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Ok, and I know that you don't participate in the COTW, but I just thought that I'd let you know that I just nominated it for FA COTW. iMatthew 2008 00:20, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, how do I forget to mention what I nominated. No Way Out (2004). lol. iMatthew 2008 00:23, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Lol, so are you going on Wikibreak? iMatthew 2008 00:26, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and I have used the edit summary. Sometimes, I just stick with the automatic one. iMatthew 2008 00:28, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Apparently it does, because if you look at my edit count, there amount of red is similar to yours. In earlier months, I didn't realize the importance of the edit summary, but LAX informed me of this, and I made sure to remember every time (except one or two when I forgot) iMatthew 2008 00:32, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- I tried that with Vengeance (2004). I slowly realized that I do not have enough time on my hands to do a PPV completely by myself. iMatthew 2008 00:37, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
-
- It was worked on in my sandbox before Cimmo created the article, and the information was transferred. And I understand that, but I still have trouble figuring out the background and aftermath sections, so maybe I will start another one, and finished Vengeance at a later date. iMatthew 2008 00:45, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

- Okay. Benoit and Edge, in the refs that I've read, say that they were announced as contender's to face Triple H at Taboo Tuesday. HBK, in the other hand, beat Christian to be a contender for Taboo Tuesday. Do I need to go into detail for Benoit and Edge? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:35, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Idea
What do you think of this idea, LAX and I agree that:
-
- We should invite D.M.N. and bulletproof to return for one final PPV project with the Kliq. If they agree for one more, then all seven past and present members will work on this project. With seven people working on it, we could easily make this article (whatever is chose), a future GA, or even FA. Just an idea, especially to let D.M.N. and bulletproof know that we're still thinking of them. iMatthew 2008 14:00, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
He has logged in occasionally this past week to complete his newsletter interview, which you should take a look at. I have his e-mail address, so if we decide to do this, I can e-mail him with our proposal. D.M.N. has noticed my messages and asked me to give him a buzz when/if we do this. If this happens, it needs to start after March 19th, when a lot of us are on vacation. (D.M.N. is available starting the 19th, and for two weeks following). As for your signature, the process took three days for me, but it looks as if you might be set by later today. iMatthew 2008 15:38, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Talk page archival
Hi, sorry about not replying sooner. I've been busy with a ton of stuff in real life as well as working hard on several articles on Wikipedia. If the offer still stands, I would really appreciate it if you could help with archiving my talk page. I'll admit that I am a bit of a packrat (and I don't tend to get many messages anyhow), so I would probably just want everything up to the beginning of February archived for now. If you're busy, I can try to figure out how to do it. Thanks for the offer. GaryColemanFan (talk) 19:54, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. Sure, if the discussions were started in January, they could be archived. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:00, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Alright, pulling NWO was probably the best thing to do at this point, as I feel the same way you do. Honestly, about The Kliq, I feel the complete opposite, like now we are starting to get projects done, and they turn out to be great. We just got an article to pass GA. I think we are working great. Anyway, I'm going to put two polls up on The Kliq's page momentarily. iMatthew 2008 16:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I know, that was my original thought, but the only way somebody will get into The Kliq as of now, is if they are replacing a member who has departed from The Kliq. And do you mean how do I find hidden pages, or how do you find them in general? iMatthew 2008 02:38, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the thing that stands out to me, is the lead. The second paragraph of the lead only has one ref. --Cheers, LAX 02:42, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, everything looks good to me. --Cheers, LAX 02:48, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- In general, you find somebody who mentions they have a hidden page. Then you go to their page, (and what I do), you check links that don't seem normal, to see if they are a link to the hidden page. Make sense? iMatthew 2008 02:49, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. iMatthew 2008 02:51, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's not going to pop out at you. See if you can find Zenlax's first. It's fairly easy. Its not going to say "My Hidden Page, Click Here." It will say something that looks normal, but the link will actually lead to the hidden page. You have to really look hard. iMatthew 2008 02:56, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the offer, but I archived a couple of threads earlier today. I think I got the hang of it from when you sent me the WP:ARCHIVE link when you first archived my talk page, and set it all up. Thanks for thinking of me again though! ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 23:03, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

No Way Out (2007)
Hi, I hope my comment yesterday about the waiting period didn't come across harshly. I do think it's a good policy, as it gives project members a chance to catch any last-minute concerns about the article. I didn't mean that I wanted you to pull the article from GAN; I just wanted to mention it as a "for next time" sort of thing. I think the article is close and that you should be nominating it soon. How about giving the one week notice today on the WP:PW talk page and getting people to help out over the next week (we would wait until you remove the Under Construction tag so that we don't interfere with your editing)? That way, it could be nominated next weekend. I was planning on nominating WrestleMania X next weekend after it's one week notice has passed, but I would wait until after you've nominated No Way Out so that you could be higher on the list (I've already got three articles listed at GAN - SummerSlam (1994), Jos LeDuc and Ion Croitoru - so I'm not in a hurry to list WrestleMania). GaryColemanFan (talk) 17:15, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I just cleaned up the article for you, but you undid everything I did with this edit. Nikki311 18:45, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, you did a good job dealing with my suggestions for this article. The article looks good, and I believe it's been a week since you told the project that you wanted to nominate it, so I think it's ready to go. Bests wishes, and I hope it gets reviewed quickly. GaryColemanFan (talk) 16:43, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
RE: Archiving
Thanks for the offer. I kind of like doing it by hand, though. There are a lot of times that people write me a message, a week or two goes by, and then they add to the message or do a follow-up. I like doing it by hand because I can pick and choose what I want to archive. Nikki311 18:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

If you have any last minute PPV ideas, please add them to the talk page until "Last Minute Nominations." iMatthew 2008 20:33, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Can you please read over SummerSlam (2007) and give me you thoughts? Thanks. --Cheers, LAX 21:55, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- What is the problem? --Cheers, LAX 22:00, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, GCF said that the lead was short for how "big" the article was (46KB at the time). He said that articles that are around 30KB, usually have a lead that is 2-3 paragraphs long. I believe it should stay because 1). It expands the lead as was needed, 2). it would cover the entire article like a lead should, and 3). It briefly goes over the aftermath, not alot of it. --Cheers, LAX 22:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- I was just about to get to that. Anyway, If it is so good as it is, shouldn't I just nominate it for FA status now, rather than getting it to GA first? In other words, I'm asking you if I should nominate it for FA now, rather than later. --Cheers, LAX 22:36, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, will do my friend. ;) --Cheers, LAX 22:45, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sure. If you can help with this ----> You should explain the significance of the apple in the Carlito-Flair match. If you read the paragraph from the point of view of someone who doesn't watch wrestling, it wouldn't make sense for a wrestler to leave the ring to eat fruit during a match. Its for Unforgiven -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:36, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll remove it. What do you want me to do? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:44, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'll start today. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 03:55, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- De nada. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:07, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've added some refs. Tell me what you think. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 04:24, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
