Neville "Nev" Ashworth is a fictional character on the long-running British Channel 4 television soap opera Hollyoaks.
He is played by actor Jim Millea.

Neville arrived with the rest of the Ashworth clan in 2005, moving into the Hunter family's old home. He is married to Suzanne and has two children: Hannah and Josh. He was manager of the local Price Slice supermarket.
Neville was fired from Price Slice after standing up to a new owner who had intentions to sack one of Neville's long standing colleagues. The other workers didn't support Neville, and the new boss fired him.
Neville's dad Bill Ashworth, who had recently moved in with the family, offered to give Neville and the kids their inheritance early. Neville wanted to use his share to buy Drive 'n' Buy from Max Cunningham, although he had to persuade his kids to give him their inheritance money as well to afford it. Neville is now running Drive 'n' Buy as a family store, and initially hired Rhys's girlfriend Sarah Barnes and best friend Gilly Roach as shop assistants.
In 2007 Neville discovered that his wife Suzanne had an affair with his brother Noel 20 years ago and his eldest son, Rhys, was not actually his biological son, but his nephew. Despite Neville claiming he knew nothing about the affair Rhys wanted nothing to do with him for several weeks. Eventually Noel showed his true colours and left Hollyoaks, and Rhys returned home, rebuilding his relationship with Neville.
In September 2007 Neville's daughter Hannah was found to have an eating disorder, which Neville has difficulty understanding. This caused tension amongst the Ashworths, with Neville bringing up the subject of Suzanne's affair against her in an argument.
The next month, Neville found out that Noel had died (on Neville's birthday, and the same day they had gone to visit a very upset Hannah in hospital), and he quickly planned Noel's funeral and wake. Rhys did not want to participate, but Josh finally convinced him to attend the wake. Rhys told Neville that he was the man who had raised him, and he considered Neville his father.
When Hannah returned from being sectioned, the family tried their best to support her. When Neville found out she was in a secret relationship with Danny Valentine, he was none too pleased. While he said his reason was Hannah being advised to not enter a relationship while still recovering from her eating disorder, his real reason was Danny's skin color. Later, Neville tried to accept Danny.
In April 2008, Neville and the rest of the family were shattered when they learned Rhys was having a relationship with his half-sister Beth, who was engaged to Gilly. Further trauma occurred when Beth and Rhys were in a serious accident which led to Beth's death. After being released from the hospital, Rhys left town to visit Beth's mother.
