The following is a list of the 2008 NASCAR races from the Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, and Craftsman Truck Series, along with their venues.

† — Non points races.
♣ — Race will either be run at night, or start in the late afternoon, and finish under lights.

♠ - Race aired on ESPN Classic and SPEED due to a conflict with the NBA Playoffs on ESPN2.

- ^ After several delayed attempts at completing this race on Sunday, this race was eventually run on Monday February 25th.
- ^ Post-race inspection determined that the oil tank cover on Edwards race-winning #99 car was missing. On March 5th, NASCAR penalized Edwards 100 driver points, stripped him of the 10 bonus points for the win which would seed him in the Chase (should he make the Chase), fined Crew Chief Bob Osbourne $100,000 and docked car owner Jack Roush 100 owner points
- ^ Originally scheduled to be run Saturday as part of NASCAR's first scheduled "double-header" with the Craftsman Truck race, the race was postponed due to rain to Sunday, and postponed again to eventually run after the completion of the rain-delayed Sprint Cup race on Monday the 25th.
- ^ Brad Keselowski's first career Nationwide Series win.
- ^ Crafton's first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck victory (his 178th start).
- ^ Lia's first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck victory.
- ^ Speed's first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck victory.
