The Serbian-Turkish wars were a series of armed conflicts and wars fought between the Serbia and the Ottoman Empire.

In 1471, a renewed Serbian principality as a vassal of Hungary was created. Up until its demise in 1540 , it spent its entirety fighting the Turks. The state usually provided support and auxiliary troops to the Kingdom of Hungary.

Turkey took part in NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999, with 11 F-16 aircraft and one frigate and later in KFOR occupation forces of Serbian province Kosovo and Metohija.
