Orkney's caipital is Kirkwa on the Mainland, hame tae St Magnus' Cathedral, wi aboot 6,000 fowk an a muckle port. The only ither burgh is Stromness at the wast end o the Mainland, wi 2,000 fowk bidin there. The third maist muckle seetlement is St Margaret's Hup on Sooth Ronaldsay.
