As decided in this vote, the symbolic use of Polish flags/CoA should be based on simplified HTML named colors: white (#ffffff) and crimson (#dc143c). Obejmuje to m.in. wszystkie szablony i infoboksy zawierające grafiki flagi czy godła. Należy zwrócić uwagę, że nie jest to wersja wzorcowa. Polska ustawa mówi o tym, że flaga powinna wyglądać inaczej chociaż nie precyzuje wprost jak flaga powinna wyglądać w przestrzeni sRGB. Nr 90 poz. 631 with later changes) "governmental symbols, documents, materials and signs are not subject to copyrights". Hence it is assumed that this image has been released into public domain. However in some instances the use of this image in Poland might be regulated by other laws.
