Le poulpe commun ou pieuvre commune (Octopus vulgaris) est une espèce de pieuvre qui peut atteindre jusqu'à deux mètres avec ses tentacules.
Ce prédateur est commun en Méditerranée et dans l'océan Atlantique.

Le poulpe se cache dans les rochers et occasionnellement dans les fonds sableux jusqu'à 100 mètres de profondeur.
