New York State Route 123, also known as Smith Ridge Road, is a 4.68-mile long north/south state highway in the northern part of Westchester County, New York. The route is a continuation of Route 123 from New Canaan, Connecticut.

Route 123 enters New York state through the hamlet of Vista (located in the town of Lewisboro) along Smith Ridge Road. The route passes through the hamlet of Lewisboro and ends just east of the hamlet of South Salem (still in Lewisboro town) at New York State Route 35.

NY 123 was first designated in the 1930 state highway renumbering as a continuation of the road leading noth from Norwalk, Connecticut.^[2] The original route began in Vista, as it does today, but extended past its current northern end, heading west along modern NY 35 to the hamlets of Cross River and Katonah. By 1946, modern NY 35 in Westchester County had been created and NY 123 was cut back to its current northern terminus.^[3]
