As recently as June 2007 Vista developed a cult-like following with teens from the surrounding towns. Shrugging off rising gas prices these crusading teens have made it their mission to go to Vista almost every night and even consider themselves "vista kids". The locals do not seem to mind and even encourage such behavior.
