MTV Eesti is a regional diversification of MTV which is shown in Estonia. It started airing on September 4, 2006 at 22:00 EEST. The first video was Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your Friends.
MTV Eesti is part of a new MTV project known as MTV Networks Baltic which also includes MTV Latvija and MTV Lietuva.
Estonian MTV VJs are Martin Veisman and Piret Järvis.
The channel combines local and international music, as well as MTV's popular entertainment shows. Along with the channel's heavy rotation video-based programs - which make up for much of the early morning and afternoon slots - many specialist music shows can be found, especially in the late hours: Superock, Party Zone, Chill Out Zone, Alternative Nation, Nu Rave, MTV Amour and Baltish among others. A great deal of chart shows can be seen regularly on MTV Eesti: Baltic Top 20, Dancefloor Chart, Euro Top 20, Hitlist Base Chart, Rock Chart, Top 10 @ 10, World Chart Express, UK Top 10 and Celebrity Chart.
MTV Eesti along with MTV Latvija and MTV Lietuva produce also their own informative lifestyle show Supermercado.
Among the entertainment shows imported from MTV US and MTV UK there are: Bustamove, Fist Of Zen, My Super Sweet 16 UK, Wild 'n Out, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, twentyfourseven, Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz, Boiling Points, Life of Ryan, Pageant Place, Wrestling Society X, Adventures in Hollyhood, The X Effect, The Real World, Rob & Big, Taquita & Kaui, Two-A-Days, Trick It Out, Run's House, Room 401, I'm From Rolling Stone, DanceLife, Bam's Unholy Union, True Life, Room Raiders, Engaged and Underage, Human Giant, Scarred, Made, Daria, Pimp My Ride, Jackass, Beavis and Butt-head, MTV Cribs, Dismissed, Little Talent Show, My Super Sweet 16, Diary, Punk'd, The Osbournes, Viva La Bam, Laguna Beach, The Hills and Making The Video which will be shown with subtitles in Estonian.
MTV Eesti also shows some of the MTV2 programming like Where My Dogs At?, The Andy Milonakis Show, The Adventures of Chico and Guapo, Stankervision, Wildboyz, Celebrity Deathmatch, Wonder Showzen and Final Fu. The channel recently started airing American Dad! and Crank Yankers.
