Kneehill County is an municipal district situated in Division No. 5, Alberta, central Alberta.
The presence of oil and natural gas in the region has attracted some industry.

The municipality covers 814,653 acres of land and comprised a population of 5,319 in 2001.[3]
In 2006, Kneehill County had a population of 5,218 living in 1,849 dwellings, a 1.9% decrease from 2001. The municipal district has a land area of 3,380.04 km² (1,305 sq mi) and a population density of 1.5/km² (3.9/sq mi).[2]
