In 2006, Division No. 5 had a population of 51,104 living in 19,205 dwellings, a 7.3% increase from 2001. The Census division has a land area of 16,775.16 km² (6,476.9 sq mi) and a population density of 3.0 inhabitants per square kilometer.[1]
