Giuseppe Mascara (born 24 March 1979 in Caltagirone) is an Italian professional football player, his position is a striker and he is currently with Serie A side Calcio Catania.

Mascara started out playing for the youth side at Comiso before moving not far away to start his professional career with Ragusa, here he earned some valuable experience over a two season period, turning out for the first team.
Mascara moved to mainland Italy, to the Campania with Battipagliese in 1997, he stayed at the club until the new millennium, playing just under 50 games for them. Mascara stayed in the same region, but he had moved up to the more well known side Avellino. He impressed during his season with Avellino, bagging 16 goals in 29 games.
He briefly moved to Salernitana scoring in his only appearance fo the club, before moving back to Sicily with the rising Palermo side who had just been promoted back into Serie B. The final year in which he was contracted to Palermo, Mascara spent the season on loan with Genoa.
In 2003, Mascara moved to Palermo's rivals Calcio Catania; a return home, as he was actually born in the Province of Catania. Aside from spending a year on-loan with Perugia, Mascara has remained a prominent member of the Catania side, helping them gain promotion from Serie B in the 2005-06 season. To date he has played just under 100 games for the club, scoring over 30 goals.
