Dagsrevyen (English: Daily Revue) is a news programme aired each day at 19:00 on the Norwegian television channel NRK1, the main channel of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK)(since 1958); and NRK2 (since 2007) The first show aired in 1958 and has kept its name since. The title translates as daily review. The show is the most viewed in the country, with daily ratings around one million. There are about 200 employees and is based at Marienlyst in Oslo.
Dagsrevyen aims at fewer, but longer and more extensive stories than the competitors. NRK hosts a tight network of domestic journalists in addition to international correspondence offices, though NRK also uses pictures acquired through the European Broadcasting Union. There are two anchors, one male and one female, who present the news. The Dagsrevyen programs sent on Saturdays and Sundays are called Lørdagsrevyen (Saturday Revue) and Søndagsrevyen (Sunday Revue), respectively.
The editor of television news is Jon Gelius, the lead news editor is Grethe Gynnild Johnsen.
The national broadcasted news programs are also included in the office, including Dagsrevyen, Dagsrevyen 21, Kveldsnytt, Standpunkt, RedaksjonEN, Urix and Dagsnytt, plus the radio shows Ukeslutt, Dagsnytt 18 and Her og Nå. NRK also has local news programs from most regional offices.
