NRK1 is the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's (NRK) main channel. The broadcasting company is government owned and is called, in Norwegian, Norsk rikskringkasting. NRK1 was officially launched in 1960, but has had regular programs since 1958. Its news programme is Dagsrevyen.
