Clayton High School, is a public high school located in the St. Louis suburb of Clayton, Missouri. It was ranked by Newsweek as the 230th-best public high school in the nation in 2004, which was the 2nd highest in the state of Missouri.[1] As of 2007, approximately 97% of all Clayton High Schoolers graduate High School, and go on to college. The school won the 2004 Missouri Class 4 state championship in football.[2]

The first Clayton High School classes met in the upper floors of the Forsythe School beginning in 1908. In 1911, the school graduated its first class. The first Clayton High School building opened in September 1917 at 7500 Maryland Avenue. In 1952, the building was sold to Famous-Barr, and the site was used for a Famous-Barr parking lot. The current location at 1 Mark Twain Circle opened in 1952.
