Da molti è considerato il miglior album mai prodotto del gruppo americano, frutto della maturazione artistica della band. L'album, rispetto ai precedenti presenta venature di hardcore punk, tipico del thrash di scuola new-yorkese. Nel platter troviamo tracce notevoli che hanno fatto storia, come il famoso inno al pogo Caught in a Mosh, dove appunto mosh vuol dire fare il pogo, o la più hardcore N.F.L. Efilnikufesin, il cui titolo potrebbe apparire come una parola tedesca, invece non è altro che la frase Nice fuckin' life letta al contrario.
