The 704th Strategic Missile Wing is an inactive United States Air Force unit. The wing was last active in 1959, based at Vandenberg AFB, California.
The 704th was established on 20 May 1957 at Vandenburg AFB. Its operational squadrons were the 576th and 644th Strategic Missile Squadrons. The wing was never operational, as its mission was the training of ICBM and IRBM (SM-65 Atlas, PGM-19 Jupiter, PGM-17 Thor) missile units.
The wing was inactivated on 1 Jul 1959.
