Pharmacy
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
A pharmacy is a shop where they sell therapeutic drugs. Some people also call a pharmacy a drug store. The people working in a pharmacy are called pharmacists or chemists (British English), and they can recognise simple diseases and give drugs for some of them.
To get a drug for some diseases, you need to see a doctor first and get a prescription.
Very often, pharmacies also sell beauty products as well as drugs, hygiene-related products, like tampons for women and contraceptives.
