From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
Intel's Core 2 is a family of single-core "Core 2 Solo", dual-core (2 cores) "Core 2 Duo", and quad-core (4 cores) "Core 2 Quad" microprocessors. Processors with the name "Extreme" following the brand name, such as Core 2 Extreme, are more expensive, high-performance processors than all others, which come in dual-core and quad-core flavors.
