Volpiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 15 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,638 and an area of 32.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Volpiano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cascine Di Malone.
Volpiano borders the following municipalities: San Benigno Canavese, Lombardore, Chivasso, Leinì, Brandizzo, and Settimo Torinese.
