[edit] Greatly admires
- Sant Kabir
- Ratan Tata and also Tata Family and Tata Group for their immense contribution to Indian industry and their contribution in scientific R&D in India ( IISc, TIFR, Computational Research Laboratories, Tata Nano)
[edit] Likings

[edit] Point of View and suggestions
- Information should be centralized and rest all should be de-centralized. Vjdchauhan 22:08, 12 October 2006 (UTC) (thus a big advocate of Wiki esp Wikipedia, Wikimapia, Wikitravel etc).
[edit] Wikipedia
- Wikipedia needs better notification mechanism e.g. 'Categoty Watch' don't report new addition/deletion to this category. We need 'Section Watch' as well.
- Systemic biased has creeped in into Wikipedia even with strict NPOV guideline, currently many of promient Humanities topic pages are tilted towards view points of Wikipedians from Western countries. Point system is needed in Wikipedia to counter systemic bias, any Wikipedian with points above a threshold level should have a say in Dispute Resolution/Locking/Unlocking/Adminship/Taking away Adminship etc.
- In future as number of Wikipedians grow to a level where there are multiple Wikipedians at city/district level, then Wikipedians can/will start contributing to the society at bigger and local level as well (say by forming CityWiki clubs).
- Wikipedia founders should formally support creation of city level Wiki Clubs for better and localized collaboration as well as for (physical) community creation. These Clubs can be audited for their work done/accounts as well. To facilitate the same the Wikipedians should be encouraged to tell in which city they are residing.
- Wikia should have revenue sharing model where the site creator(s)/main editors can keep part of revenue as an incentive to create and propogate the site, part goes to say some CityWikiClub/Social fund and rest goes back to Wikia Founders.
- Voting button support can be given to some/all Wikia sites.
[edit] Politics
- This user thinks that computerization/IT brings efficiency and transparency in public sector.
- This user thinks homogeneous society is more rigid/fundamentalist than heterogeneous society.
- This user supports multi party system over bi-party system as two parties cannot represent multiple and divergent views of a large society and also minority groups (e.g. non-white people in Western countires) do not get fair representaion in the political setup as they cannot float their own party and contest elections.
- This user do not consider Presidential forms of government as true democracy, its in between Democracy and Dictatorship.
- This user thinks that Indian Farmers should be given some basic monthly amount depending on their land holding and average yield.
- This user thinks that if Indian schools of can celebrate Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, Dussera, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Christmas etc festivals they should also celebrate Eid, this will reduce anti-Muslim bias to a great extent among future generations of Indians. In fact schools should celebrate at least one major festivals of all religions having presence in India.
[edit] Media
- This user supports ban on Tobacco advertising on electronic/print media as well as in popular cinema.
[edit] IT
- This user advocates Maintenance Oriented Programming (a self coined term) for software development esp Product development where code base survives for years and team can change over time. De-centralization of code is basic concept behind this and here one should avoid sharing of code through mechanism of Inheritance and/or usage of private methods/functions. Such practice reduces side effects to great degree and brings down the cost of subsequent releases (minor and major releases both) considerably. Classes / Objects are good thing to expose functionality but the main business logic should be written in flat code (in separate class/component/dll) having only (big) public/exposed methods/functions.
- In future we should have Home PC's/laptops primarily having only browser and have some email notification mechanism (e.g. GMail notifier)
