[edit] Year of Birth?

Why was her DOB changed:

"Vanessa Feltz (born 21 February 1962) is a British television and radio personality, who grew up in Totteridge, North London."

to "1960"? Is there any documentation?--TGC55 18:40, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dale Winton

Was she married to Dale Winton? Winton's Wikipedia entry says so. I don't follow lives of such celebs, so wonder if anyone could verify and add the marriage if true. (Winton had a fake/spoof marriage to Nell McAndrew). Dawd 20:56, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

It's someone's idea of a joke - probably the same person who added the comment 'she is a big fat cow who ate all the pies'... Smurfmeister (talk) 09:57, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Career description out of sequence?

The following reads slightly oddly:

Her career peaked when she presented the ITV daytime television chat show The Vanessa show made by independent TV company, Anglia Television. She moved to the BBC to host a similar show in 1996 in a reported £2 million deal, when demands for a doubling of her wages to £2.75m million fell on deaf ears. [1] Anglia replaced the show with Trisha. In 1999, it was cancelled when it was revealed that some guests were actors from an agency. BBC one controller Peter Salmon said the bad publicity had effectively killed the show. [2] On 14th February 1995 she started work on new radio station Talk Radio UK

as we suddenly jump back to 1995 after talking about her 1999 TV series. Apepper 23:21, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Her ethnic nationality/civic nationality

According to one, she's Jewish, to the other, she's British. She is not English.

According to one what? Certainly not a reliable source as you continue to refuse to provide any evidence to back up your clear WP:POV-pushing. Gwernol 02:13, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Is Jewish a nationality?? I thought it was a Religion! Silly me! She was born in Islington which makes her...English! Tada! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greensalad82 (talk • contribs) 21:31, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quoting from her column?

I removed the paragraph quoting from her column, re: her fancying Chris Moyles. This did not seem to add anything to the article.Sah10406 09:47, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Fiddler on the Roof" remark

Why does someone keep changing her comment that she felt like she grew up "in Fiddler on the Roof" to "as a Fiddler on the Roof"? The latter makes no sense. She is not saying she like an actual fiddler, but that the backdrop of her childhood was like the musical of that name. Sheesh.Sah10406 21:40, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Rumors" removed

I removed the following "rumors" related to the BBC "Vanessa" tv show as being unsubstantiated.

At the same time, it was rumoured that she had insisted on using junior members of the production crew for running personal errands - most notably, the purchase of chocolate bars (sometimes ordering taxis specifically for this purpose).

If someone finds published sources supporting these rumors, please feel free to include them.--TGC55 (talk) 22:55, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
