[edit] Curriculum
Years 7-11 have about 120 pupils per year. It is one of three schools in North Lincolnshire that has a sixth-form, of which another is in Brigg, which together operate (in conjunction with Vale of Ancholme) as the Brigg Sixth Form College, to spread the workload rather than duplicating curriculum.
The school performs at the national average for GCSE (46% of its pupils got 5 grades A-C including English and Maths in 2007), which is above average for North Lincolnshire, and fifth best in the LEA. The Sir John Nelthorpe School, also in Brigg, gets slightly better (56%) GCSE and A-level results. The local education authority which operates the school is North Lincolnshire.
