Lincoln Christ's Hospital School is a comprehensive school for 11-18 year olds located on Wragby Road in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. It also borders Egerton Road and Addison Drive.
The school has had Language College status since 2001, and is competent in the teaching of French, Spanish, German, Mandarin Chinese and Russian courses. There are also plans for the school to introduce Italian and Portuguese. The headmaster of the school is Dr Andy Wright PhD, who has been in place since 2005, when he replaced long serving headteacher David Cox, who took retirement.

Hospital schools date from the 13th century as boys schools for parents who could not afford to pay school fees. The were also known as charity schools or Blue Coat schools. LCHS dates from the 11th century, but the charity school dates from the 17th century.
It used to be two grammar schools with some pupils that boarded. The boys schools was called Lincoln School (dating back to 1090) and using the site on Wragby Road since 1906, and the girls school was Lincoln Christ's Hospital Girls' High School (founded in 1893) based on Lindum Hill which merged in September 1974 to become a comprehensive school (only the City of Lincoln, of all Lincolnshire district councils, decided to completely change the selection policy at the time). The strict school uniform policy was relaxed at the same time. Also joining the school were pupils from two former secondary modern schools, St Giles Secondary Modern School for Boys (now an infants school on Addison Drive) and Myle Cross Secondary Modern School for Girls (now a junior school on Macaulay Drive), both formed in 1933.
Currently, 20% of pupils at the school have free school meals.

[edit] Academic performance
When a grammar school, it would have been the best performing school in Lincoln. Now, the school produces above average results (for Lincoln, but not for Lincolnshire) at A level, but the Priory LSST now gets the best A level results, and has effectively taken the place of what Lincoln School pre-1974 used to achieve. At GCSE, the school performs below the England average, with some secondary modern schools in Lincolnshire getting better results.
