U-Force

The U-Force is an accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System made by Brøderbund. It employed two large infrared sensors which detected the user's hand movements, and sent them to the NES as control button presses.

ScrewAttack (a video game enthusiast site) called the U-Force the worst video game peripheral of all time, and said that the U-Force wasn't just bad, but that it didn't work at all.[1] In contrast, the Angry Video Game Nerd, one of Screwattack's most popular and cynical commentators, had a much more positive experience, with the controller essentially working as it had been designed.[2]
