Super Strong Warner Siblings

Super Strong Warner Siblings was an episode of the animated series Animaniacs. It was one of the first episodes in Animaniacs' 3rd season (its first season on Kids' WB). It is a parody of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and to greater extent Super Sentai, one of Japan's main four tokusatsu, which was introduced to the American Audience in the 90s. This episode is made more interesting considering that one of the main reasons that Animaniacs moved from the Fox Kids to the Kids WB was because Warner Bros. was sick of Animaniacs playing second banana to the Power Rangers.

It has Wakko parodying the Red Anteater Ranger, Yakko parodying the Blue Blowfish Ranger, Dot parodying the Yellow Platypus Ranger (with the Pink Ranger skirt), Dr. Scratchnsniff parodying Zordon, Rita Repulsa parodying herself, a green alien parodying Finster, a pig with Mordant's appearance and Goldar's voice and personality, a Scottish coyote parodying Baboo, warriors parodying the Putty Patrollers, wearing thick glasses, and the Water Tower parodying the Megazord.

Viewers might notice that "Rita's" voice does not quite match her lip-sync and she (more obviously) suffers from "Speed Racer" Dialog. This is reference to the fact that Rita Repulsa's footage in Power Rangers was taken from the Japanese footage of Kyouryuu Sentai ZyuRanger and dubbed over.

Tress MacNeille (who does the voice of Dot) was the voice of "Rita." Interestingly enough, many fans mistaken MacNeille's character for Barbara Goodson, who did the voice of Rita Repulsa (as well as several other PR characters), another popular animation voice actress.

The three member Red, Blue, and Yellow motif would eventually be used in Power Rangers: Ninja Storm & Power Rangers: Dino Thunder and is currently being repeated once again in Power Rangers: Jungle Fury. Ironically, those incarnations of Power Rangers are "adapted" by Disney, Warner Bros.' chief rival. In Super Sentai, this motif was already used starting with Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan, which was part of the Marvel collaboration Super Sentai and was repeated again with Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger and Juken Sentai Gekiranger. The most recent series to use this motif is Engine Sentai Go-onger.

The Warners make a habit out of constantly exclaiming the word "right", an expression used by the Rangers to agree to a group decision or to finish off a monster they are facing.

Power Rangers Ninja Storm was viewed by fans as the franchise poking fun at it's earlier seasons and enduring cliches in a manner not unlike Animaniacs.

The Warners destroying the Studio lot despite stopping the giant Bug was a commentary on the monster battles in Power Rangers destroying entire portions of the city, but when the monster is defeated, much of the city's mainstay locations are revealed to be intact and nobody is seen to be in any danger within these collapsing buildings, nor does anyone complain about the irresponsible damage or the cost to repair things. Other Power Rangers seasons (such as Power Rangers In Space, and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue), addressed this neglect, and an intended plot line in the Hamilton Comics PR publications also would have seen a disgruntled buisnessman caught in too many attacks attempt to force the Rangers to leave Angel Grove
