Steve Prescott born 26th December, 1973 in St Helens, Merseyside, England is a former English rugby league player.
Steve Prescott played for St Helens in the Rugby League Premiership and the Super League. He also played for Hull Sharks, Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Prescott represented Ireland at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup. Prescott has also represented Lancashire in the Origin Series.
Prescott's usual position was as a full-back.
He announced in 2006 that he was suffering from stomach cancer.
