He's a real vandal. He makes up crap. Please tell him to stop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.41.38.234 (talk) 20:41, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Vandal

After taking a closer look at the edits to La Serna High School, I am of the opinion that this is content dispute instead of clear vandalism. I recommend that you try using the steps outlined at Wikipedia:Resolving disputes starting with trying to talk to the other user as there does not appear to be anything requiring administrator intervention at this time. --Allen3 talk 12:46, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:TheFreelancer-LSHS.png

Thanks for uploading Image:TheFreelancer-LSHS.png. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

To avoid deletion, take a look at Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. If the image passes all criteria there then it should be fair use. Shawnc 05:48, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film)

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:46, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film)

The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film), an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning (film) during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. -- CyberGhostface 02:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] R. Kelly

I'm a bright one. I did a Flickr search and that picture came up because of the caption. Oddly enough, I even recognized him as Kanye and uploaded the image, must have been spacing out. 17Drew 00:26, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Erika Ringor

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Erika Ringor, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. -FisherQueen (Talk) 22:29, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on MSI-West requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tikiwont 08:13, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Yo-gabba-gabba logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Yo-gabba-gabba logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use.

Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Albert Thomas winks at LBJ after JFK assassination.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Albert Thomas winks at LBJ after JFK assassination.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 21:31, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Michael Corleone SV.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Michael Corleone SV.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 17:32, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Michael Corleone SV.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Michael Corleone SV.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:18, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Saw V

Actually, I'd recommend asking the user who protected the redirect (User:The-G-Unit-Boss). --WoohookittyWoohoo! 09:05, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I've unprotected the page. Good work on actually creating a sourced article on it. Feel free to copy your subpage to the Saw V page when you get this message. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 16:44, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
I'd also reccomend incorporating some of the "Sequels" section, particularly the references, in the Saw article into this one too. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 16:46, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Halle Berry

Please avoid one huge biography section as you did in this one. It's against guidelines. Vikrant 14:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:RKelly performs RiseUp.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:RKelly performs RiseUp.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rappingwonders2 (talk) 21:58, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Brobee

An editor has nominated Brobee, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brobee and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:29, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fix the confessions section on Usher (entertainer) article

Wow your user page is very detailed. It read likes a website bio. Congrats on your son. Also Thx for being smart enough to link to the pdf page of the article your school paper wrote on Jasmine and yourself. I hate that wiki pages have refs to website urls that arent static!

In this section, there is the clause not only, but the 2nd part of the clause isnt there;thus the sentence is incomplete. Since the page is locked I'm unable to do anything. The sentence needs to be corrected. Mahalo. 70.108.96.29 (talk) 00:13, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Usher

Thanks for the comments, and thanks for bringing that issue in the article to my attention. However, I wanted to know why you chose me out of all the users to correct the issue (not that I mind, just wondering) and I also wanted to recommend that you register an account, so you can edit pages that are restricted to IP addresses. See you around. --Victor (talk) 00:26, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

My lucky # is 3. You were the 3rd person listed as having recently edited the article when I looked at the history. Mahalo. 70.108.96.29 (talk) 01:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Longfellow Elementary School (Whittier, California)

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Longfellow Elementary School (Whittier, California), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Assassination of a High School President

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Assassination of a High School President, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1018818. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:00, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] FA

Why do you feel the need to constantly remove that FA nomination? Can't you see that your user page is written well? I just think it has enough "oomph" to be nominated. AnitaLover (talk) 21:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Look, I don't have time to play these games. I'm going to nominate your user page because it is extremely well written. If you don't like that, take it up with the admins. AnitaLover (talk) 21:36, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
