Spencer Douglas

A local Hong Kong band consisting of Tim, Jan and Nimal.

The band was established in late 2006 by Nimal Jayawardena (founder of the Rockit Hong Kong Music Festival - now closed down. Named after his friend Spencer Douglass after he viewed a Coldplay press conference in which Spencer was featured. After advice from their marketing agent, that has since closed down, they decided to drop the second s in Douglass, to create a balanced logo. They made their debut on the closing night of the club Amnesia and played their second gig at the 2006 Rockit festival, just prior to Ian Brown coming on stage. Since this time Nimal Jayawardena and the event Rockit have gone bankrupt and many questions asked as to what happened to the event and what happened to the band.

Nimal went bankkrupt and Rockit shut down due to financial problems and since then no connections to Nimal or Spencer have been made in this area.
