Thank you for your improvements to the article.
It is actually valuable to put in the full name of the author(s), and the date of retrieval for references, so that it is easier to search for the reference, and to know when the reference was either last looked at, or added to the article...when the link goes dead in the future. I think you'll find that a very large fraction (nearly all) wikipedia article references use upper and lower case for the authors as well. Bill Clinton instead of B. CLINTON. I dont understand u undoing the edit. I dont think I have "synthesised" anything (nor do I have any reason to). I thought it was worth mentioning the military and space technology it (RUS) posseses, inherited from the Soviet Union, is very relevant for a "potential power" study. Dont forget, this is how the Soviets used to exert their political agenda on to others.

- I see your point. But I added the piece to point out the obvious, Russia's military power. The piece above my edit argues whether or not the country will someday return to its superpower status. I think my piece is relevant to point out the military, space and energy power it posses - which was some of the aspects which made the Soviets a superpower. It doesnt necessarily argue that these alone will make Russia a superpower.

Hi Sijo Ripa. Thanks for your good work on the article. I think it is actually a great idea to create a general article with an overview of the problem and a list of major incidents. First of all, we have to think of a suitable title for this article. Meanwhile, I will try to reconstruct the chronological order of all notable alleged or confirmed Russian air incursions. - The problem here is that not all Russian air strikes were just allegations. For example, in 1999 Russian admitted that they "erroneously" bombed a village in north Georgia and apologized for the casualties. The problem dates back to the early 1990s when a civil war raged in Abkhazia. Russian aircrafts aided the Abkhaz rebels and their allies from the North Caucasus republics and bombed Georgian positions around the city of Sukhumi. Traditionally, Russian defense minister Grachev claimed that Georgians were bombing themselves in order to discredit Russia, but then admitted the truth when Georgian shot down a Russian jet and the UN mission confirmed that the deceased pilot was a Russian air force officer. While this incident can also be included in the article, I think it should basically concentrate on post-war strikes most of which occurred during the Second Chechen War from 1999 to 2002. [edit] Eastern Hemisphere Maps
Thanks for the compliment on my Eastern Hemisphere maps! They take a LOT of research and time to make, but they are worth it because they help readers learn more about history and placement of peoples in various years.
Too bad some editors on certain articles seem to have a major problem with them! They were up on over 3 dozen articles (like the Roman Empire, various Germanic articles, etc.), but seem to have been removed recently with no explanation (or weak explanations that they aren't relevant to the article, even though they depict the borders of the article's subject).
Any ideas how to fight that kind of editing? Thomas Lessman 15:06, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

This article (created by you) is constantly vandalized by one single user, who seems to plan its deletion or destruction (see also Talk:Soy cheese). I am watching over the article from now on, but it is better when more people interested in this subject (especially vegans, people with dairy digesting problems like lactose intolerance or Jews) are looking upon this more frequently.

Hey, a user brought up a point I had been wondering about as well. There was an inconsistancy between Western civilisation and Western civilization, so I've redirected Western civilization to Western world, in effect reverting your change. So of course I'd be interested in your reasoning, and happy to have it changed differently (The thought just occurred to me that it might be worth a disambiguation page instead of just a redirect...).
