[edit] Grounds
It is situated on an extensive site in a residential area of Hoddesdon, surrounded by mature woodland and access to it can be obtained from both the east and the west sides of the school. The school has wide-ranging facilities, including two halls, an ICT suite and a specialist music room. Outside, there is a large playing field, adventure playground, the school's own woodland area and a pond. It is adjacent to Sheredes Secondary School but Sheredes Primary School does not feed it and most children progress onto other local secondary schools.
[edit] Extra curricular and other
The school hosts an independently run pre-school group. A breakfast and after-school club also runs in the premises and is managed by a private childcare provider.
The school runs an extensive suite of after school clubs including 4 foreign language clubs (Spanish, Italian, Greek, German). Recently it also qualified for a healthy schools award, following an "investors in people" award. It was designated by Hertfordshire Council for further expansion.
In 2007 it was the top school in Hertfordshire for Exam Results and was also the 6th in England and Wales.
