Setanta Sports (alternatively known as Setanta International Sports Pak) is a Canadian English language subscription pay-per-view service wholly owned by Rogers Media, in partnership with Ireland-based Setanta Sports. Unlike traditional pay-per-view services where a customer purchases a specific event or film, Setanta Sports acts as a premium service with a 24/7 schedule, where customers subscribe to the entire channel on a monthly basis. Setanta Sports primarily features association football (soccer) along with, to a lesser extent, matches from such sports as rugby, Australian rules football, and the events from the Gaelic Athletic Association including Gaelic football and hurling.
Setanta Sports launched on August 10, 2007 in time for the Premier League 2007-08 season. Setanta Sports is used under the auspices of Rogers's occasionally-used Rogers Sportsnet PPV licence.
