The Rio Grande Valley Vipers are a team of the NBA Development League which began play in 2007. They play their home games at the Dodge Arena at Hidalgo, Texas. The Vipers are affiliated with the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Hornets. They were even affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers for 2007-08.
