The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees are a professional ice hockey team based in Hidalgo, Texas. They are a member of the Central Hockey League. They play their home games at Dodge Arena. Ex-Northeastern University Husky Billy Newson is the franchise's leader in most offensive categories: first in games (221), goals (90), assists (102) and points (192) and third in penalty minutes with 301.
