[edit] PSP Firmware
This article is now out of date, as you cannot use Remote Play with a PSP with anything less than 3.90 firmware (or Custom Firmware equivalent) as I had to wait a while for CFW 3.90 to come out to be able to play Remote Play. Every time I tried, I was told my PSP neeed to be updated (it had 3.80 CFW). Basically whenever the PS3's firmware is updated, you have to have it and the latest PSP firmware to use Remote Play. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.129.210.61 (talk) 14:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Playing PS3 games on PSP via Remote Play
I heard rumours that you will be able to play PS3 games, with PS3 graphics capabilities on PSP using Remote Play. That would be nice...
Never heard of that. Don't think it's even possible with the PSP missing the L2 and R2 buttons. The text from the games wouldn't even be visble because of the PSP's screen size.
from what i understand tham manin gamind aspect is things like weapons loadouts, health or spped, just a a privete suplimental screen for the main game.
- Remote Play support in-game has been possible since the 1.6 release of the SDK. Apparently this 'costs' 8MB of memory (and a free Cell I imagine). nemo 14:11, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Robustness?
In what way is Remote Play not "robust"? nemo 14:11, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
It wasn't invented by Nintendo. Had they done the exact same thing, or even a crippled version of it, it would be deemed robust.
[edit] Blog from IGN & Tokyo Game Show
Don't know about verifiability by now you can power on and off the PS3 with Remote Play according to this blog...or something like that... see this...if it hasn't changed by the time you read this... http://ps3.ign.com/articles/821/821212p1.html ! --Scottymoze 01:54, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
