[edit] Sample
The formatting is weird because I added an archive. This should fix it until I get a few posts, then I'll delete this one.
Thanks. I didn't have much of a b'day so u made it seem better. Chubbennaitor 16:18, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] templates on your user page
Hi Preschooler.at.heart,
I notice that your userpage has several transcluded templates for "about me", "memberships", etc. That's fine, except they're in the template namespace, which is intended only for article templates.
There's a quick and easy way to fix this; move all of the templates to become subpages of your user space, change your user page to point to the new locations, and delete the redirects in template space.
For example:
- move Template:Preschooler.at.heart/About Me to User:Preschooler.at.heart/About Me,
- change {{Template:Preschooler.at.heart/About Me}} to {{User:Preschooler.at.heart/About Me}} on your user page, and
- put {{db-author}} on what remains at Template:Preschooler.at.heart/About Me.
Would you like to do it, or would you like me to do it, or would you like to talk about it first?
I'll watch your talk page; you can reply here. --barneca (talk) 20:29, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. I was in the middle of something and I have like 10 tabs open that are making the switch complicted. it'll take a second, I'm just doing importance tagging, which goes fast. I'll make sure it's satisfactory w/ you when I'm done. preschooler@heart 20:48, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Didn't mean to imply it's a rush. No hurry at all. --barneca (talk) 20:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- What a cool wikimedal; I've never seen that one before. Thanks! --barneca (talk) 21:40, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

The Office WikiProject Newsletter
Issue IV - May 2008
|
- Around the watercooler
- The Office (U.S. TV series) still remains as a Featured Article Review candidate. Please continue to do all you can to improve the article and keep it at Featured status.
- This month's collaboration is List of The Office (U.S. TV series) episodes. Let's all work together in the month of May to make the list a great one!
- Another notice to anyone who hasn't received it yet: the WikiProject is going through a Membership Reconfirmation drive. If you are an active editor and have not already reconfirmed yourself, please visit the main page and move your name from Inactive Members to Active Members
- The Office (U.S. season 2) is currently a candidate to become a Featured List. Feel free visit the page to add a comment to make the article better, or visit the article itself, and help out.
- Please continue to keep a look-out for anyone who has substantial experience in editing articles pertaining to The Office. If they're not already in the project, informing them about it would be a great idea.
- The WikiProject page itself is still in need of some help. If anyone could spruce it up, that would be a great help.

Thanks for taking the time to read this fourth edition of the project's newsletter. As always, thanks to anyone who made any type of edit that improved an article relating to The Office. The size of the edit or edits does not matter, as any help ultimately helped out that article, and thus the entire Project. As always, don't forget to check into the project main page every once and a while, where I will periodically post announcements that are related to different events. Have a great month everybody, and happy editing!
If you would like to offer any suggestions on the creation, appearance, or any other matter of the newsletter, please message me at my talk page. I'm bound to miss something that's happened with the project, so if I miss anything, please inform me of the error.

The WikiProject Theatre Newsletter!
Issue 3 - May, 2008
|
Welcome to our third newsletter - we've got lots to get through this month so without further ado, let's crack on...
- The Big Debate - Character Lists in Play Articles
For those of you who haven't headed over to our talk page recently - you've been missing out! Throughout the past month there's been great discussion about the issue of character lists in play articles. The aim is to form a standard presentation of character lists to be used on all play articles so if you'd like to make your voice heard on the issue then check out the talk page now.
- Collaboration of The Month
Yet again this month's COTM has remained unchanged as no-one has nominated any articles to become the new incumbent. Quick - get yourself down to the COTM page and nominate an article for next month!
- Assessment
The number of articles at the Assessment page are growing - if you're feeling a little lost and don't know where to begin to help us out, head on down to the Assessment page and give us a hand.
- New members
The past month has seen Dereksmootz, Duckie for broadway, Dozenthey, Fewster, Nrswanson, Kleinzach and Broadweighbabe join us - welcome to you all! It's wonderful to see such a large influx of new members.
If you've been editing a theatre-related article recently and noticed another user helping you who also appears to have an interest for the subject of theatre, why not drop them a line and invite them over to the project?
- HELP!
We're crying out for people to help us out wherever possible. We are currently looking for members to volunteer to give us a hand in several areas. If you can do any of the following, please drop us a line at the talk page:
- Newsletter Editor(s) - Always fancied yourself as a bit of a journalist? Perhaps you could help us write this newsletter - it doesn't take long to compile. Maybe you'd like to help but can't commit on a regular basis? In that case, why not rally round a few other members of the project to help you out and take it in turns each month to compose the newsletter?
- Mailmen/women - If writing the newsletter isn't your bag then maybe you could help in the distribution of this fine document? As our membership grows it becomes quite labourious to send it to everyone. It's only a quick task that needs doing once a month, and really is just a case of copying and pasting a template onto our members talk pages.
- Portal editor(s) - It's come to our attention that the Theatre Portal hasn't been updated in a long time and we'd like to get someone, or a group of people to take charge of it and get it up to the standard of some of the great portals out there (e.g. the Comedy Portal, the Solar System Portal etc).
- And finally...
Don't forget to add the WikiProject Theatre userbox to your userpage to spread the word about the project!

Best wishes from Canada! ;-) --RobNS 02:12, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
I've answered your question. Sorry for our delay. It seems I'm the only one actually being active there these days. If you have any further comments, add them to that same page. Regards, RyRy5 (talk ♠ copy-edit) 03:47, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
