[edit] Rename

Hello there. Welcome to Wikipedia. I do appreciate your contributions to the project so far, and I don't mean to seem unfriendly or anything like that, but your current username isn't allowed by our username policy because it's a lengthy, seemingly random series of characters, and will need to be changed or the account will be blocked. Please place a request to be renamed at WP:CHU. Thank you. WODUP 08:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Askdnapn39nfkjfen! I would love for you to elucidate the meaning of your name, if you don't mind. I happen to be quite interested in chaos and its eventual unravelling. So, unravel! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Wow, seven kids! I'm 34 and I have ZERO kids. I'm not sure I would even have the energy for one! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:33, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello again. I just wanted to let you know that I opened this up for community discussion at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names#Askdnapn39nfkjfen. Cheers, WODUP 23:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:33, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock/Name Change

Could I be unblocked? I knew there was a bit of a discussion over whether my name was 'legal' or not. I was following discussion of it last week and today when I logged on to make tons of edits to Wikipedia I discovered that someone just banned me. Could I be unbanned? Even if that means changing my name to Peter Napkin Party? Thanks. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 22:44, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Allowing username change to Peter Napkin Party (talk · contribs). Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking.

Request handled by: -- lucasbfr talk 23:30, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Note however that it would be MUCH faster for you to simply create a new account under that name (just click the link). -- lucasbfr talk 23:30, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

I thought it was promotional as it sounded like a company that has things to do with parties... obviously I was wrong! :)

[edit] Name

Gotta admit that name change seemed a bit harsh. Sorry I found it too late to chime in. I wonder if there are rules against being Polish? Mstuczynski (talk) 15:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright problems with Image:Jim Haskins.jpg

An image that you uploaded, Image:Jim Haskins.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Cheers, CP 18:34, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure how you made it to be talk page, either, but I guess via Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/One-upper. In any case: Hi! Happy wikiediting! (EhJJ)TALK 20:39, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism on Talk:Teh

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Teh, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Phyzome is Tim McCormack 20:22, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Peter Barker. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. (EhJJ)TALK 20:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Please do not create malicious redirects, as you did with Tromboner. They are disruptive and are considered vandalism, and have been reverted. Users who continue to create such redirects may be blocked. Kariteh (talk) 17:48, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Freedom. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 19:53, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Queen. Kanonkas :  Take Contact  19:53, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for reverting your recent experiment. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. In the future, please do not experiment on article pages; instead, use the sandbox. Thank you. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 19:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Offensive reason removed, see history"

Decline reason: "See below. Continued abuse of this template will result in your talk page being protected. This is your final warning. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:50, 7 May 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Given the number of times your "coworkers" have committed vandalism, and your offensive "explanation" posted on other users' talk pages, I think you're just trying to see what you can get away with, and then making excuses when you get caught. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:00, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Yeah, because I have nothing better to do than that. I'm just really excited and using fowl language became i'm so angry at my coworkers! Besides, this isn't a vandalizm only account, unless you consider adding information about trees and music and creating a page about a FAMOUS author vandalizm!!!!!!Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:02, 7 May 2008 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "You will not be unblocked so long as you continue to make attacks towards other editors. You are responsible for the actions of your account - if you leave it unattended, and it gets abused, you will be blocked. In any event, your contributions show that you have a pattern of vandalism extending over several days, so unless you had some really bad constipation, your excuse does not hold up. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:47, 7 May 2008 (UTC)"

PS, had I a trout, I would use it to slap you because of how you are acting. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:04, 7 May 2008 (UTC) PPS, why are you removing my appologies from other's talk pages? Please put them back, thnx. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Maybe, this talk-page should be blocked. GoodDay (talk) 20:10, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, good idea. That way they can't be held accountable for their actions. I think I was unfairly perm blocked. The blocking policy is to only block indef someone who makes nothing but vandal stuff. Obviously i'm a serious contributer. I think the policy for a situation like this is the block for a week or something after the user gets three warnings. This wasn't followed through. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:13, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
No, I mean block this talkpage along with the other block. GoodDay (talk) 20:15, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Usually you aren't to protect the talk page just because someone is blocked. I think it would be better to unblock me. After all, this is not a "vandalizm only account"--the supposed reason I was blocked. I should not be blocked permanently, just for a week or something, per rules of blocking.Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:17, 7 May 2008 (UTC) Thanks
In any event, if attacks and trolling continues to be posted to this page, it will be protected from editing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:48, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
SOrry. I'm not trying to troll or anythin. It's just that I don't think rules have been followed (an indef block should be a last resort sort of block, only applied in cases of constant vandalizm or after shorter blocks have failed according to the blocking policy page). But if we are to disregard that, that's fine I suppose and I'll have to live with whoever that decision belongs to. The shittiest thing about this is that because of the policy I am not allowed to make another acount--if I do I will be autoblocked for osmething called 'suck puppeting?" (i have no idea what that means yet) so basically you guys are forcing me NEVER to contribute thigns to the wikipedia, which is sad for me because I had planning to add Jim Haskins information because I had JUST got the article form the magazine back from the other house. But oh well. PBut please consider in your hearts not blocking me FOREVER. I mean look at my old good edits and stuff. ThnxAsk D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 20:53, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
I think the problem here is a combination of vandalism and lack of WP:Civility/WP:Etiquette. While the language Peter Napkin has used may be appropriate at his workplace or home, it's generally considered rude to use it in a public place, such as a shopping mall or Wikipedia. I'd be in favour of a shorter ban if there is some indication that this won't continue. My two cents. (EhJJ)TALK 01:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Party ?

...Cool user name, but what's the background on it? Guroadrunner (talk) 03:27, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, my original name was different, here is the rational for it: My name is not at all random, at least not any more than your name (WODUP). WODUP is not an English word but just looks like several random letters to me. I'm sure this isn't the case in regards to your name as the letters W, O, D, U, & P have some significance for you. Likewise my name, Askdnapn39nfkjfen, holds significance for me. Chalk it up to chaos theory, but order is usually found in seemingly randomness. the Ask-dna part should be obvious: I believe that we can learn a great deal about humans, both physically and psychologically by unlocking the secrets of human DNA, thus the Ask dna. The P & N are my initials, my age is 39, and the other letters are the first initials of my children. At first I tried to create a username that was a single English word but all my options were taken so I decided to be a little creative. I'm truly sorry if you thought my username is random, but as you can see, it simply is not. Askdnapn39nfkjfen (talk · contribs) 11:53, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
My current name is just my real name with party at the end of it. Usualy I would leave a note on your talk page, but it looks as if I cannot right now. I hope you still get it. Bye. Ask D.N.A.- Peter Napkin (talk) 19:06, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
