Season two of One Tree Hill, an American teen drama television series, began airing on September 21, 2004. The season concluded on May 24, 2005, after 23 episodes. The season aired on the WB television network. Season two regular cast members include Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz, Paul Johansson, Sophia Bush, Barbara Alyn Woods, Barry Corbin, Craig Sheffer and Moira Kelly.

Barbara Alyn Woods was given star billing as Deb Scott, after being a guest star in episodes 4-14, and credited as also starring for the rest of the first season.

Season two rose in ratings, averaging 4.3 million viewers weekly, and is currently the highest rated season.[4]

The DVD release of season two was released after the season has completed broadcast on television. It has been released in Regions 1, 2 and 4. As well as every episode from the season, the DVD release features bonus material such as audio commentaries on some episodes from the creator and cast, deleted scenes, gag reels and behind-the-scenes featurettes. The words "The WB Presents" were printed on the packaging before the "One Tree Hill" title, although they were not included on international releases as The WB was not the broadcaster.
