Nostrand Avenue is a station on the New York City Subway's IRT Eastern Parkway Line, located at Nostrand Avenue and Eastern Parkway. It is served mainly by 3 trains, although it sees various 2, and 4 service. It is the first station south of Rogers Junction, where the IRT Nostrand Avenue Line splits from the Eastern Parkway Line; the junction is visible from the platforms. The line here is in two levels, with southbound trains above northbound trains, and the local tracks south (railroad west) of the express tracks. The platforms only serve local trains and are west of the local tracks. The station has standard IRT mosaics; fare control is on the upper level.
