North Shore railway station is located in North Shore, a suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. There are two broad gauge passenger tracks at this station, and trains can travel in either direction on either line.
In addition, the Western standard gauge line is to the west of the station, and is used by freight trains to and from Adelaide, and a short platform is provided for The Overland passenger service from Melbourne to Adelaide.
Futhur south is a connection to the Mildura line which is often used by freight trains
