Nicola Berti (born 14 April 1967 in Salsomaggiore Terme) is an Italian former footballer who played during the 1980s and 1990s. He was a tough tackling midfielder who was highly regarded as a linchpin for Internazionale FC for most of the late 1980's and the 1990s. With Inter Berti won the 1988-89 Scudetto, 1988-89 Italian Super Cup, and the 1990-91 and 1993-94 UEFA Cup. Later he played for Tottenham Hotspur, winning the English football league cup in 1999.
He also played for the Italy national football team in the 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cups.
He represented Italy on 39 occasions scoring 3 goals.
