Naraingarh is a city and a municipal committee in Ambala district in the Indian state of Haryana.

As of 2001 India census[1], Naraingarh had a population of 18,209. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Naraingarh has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 68%. In Naraingarh, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age. It has a Govt. College named Govt. College Naraingarh offering higher education and is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Near by cities are Ambala, Yamunanagar, Chandigarh, Nahan, Ponta etc.

Naraingarh is the headquarters of one of Ambala's sub districts. It was founded by the king of Sirmor (Himachal Pradesh), Raja Laxmi Narayan. After the decline of the Mughal empire, the king of Sirmor built a palace in Kulshan and named it Naraingarh. It is around 30km from Ambala Cantt. A park named as Patel Park in cantonment is in the ambala sub-district is a beautiful place surrounded by natural beauty, with all natural, beautiful and large trees and various kinds of herbs. Also it has " Shivji Temple " in the area.
