[edit] International Baccalaureate Program
Morris Brandon has been an IB World School since February 2007 (proof http://www.ibo.org/school/002422/). It offers the IB Primary Years Programme. The program aims to awaken the intelligence of students and teach them to relate the content of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. Strong emphasis is placed on the ideals of international understanding and responsible leadership. Part of this preparation is the creation of a challenging and rigorous curriculum incorporating all disciplines including foreign language and the arts.

[edit] Technology / Open Source Program
In late spring 2005, a group of parents, PTA officers and Brandon administration began a project, the Brandon Technology Initiative. The project first identified technology issues and goals at Brandon and then began the process of recommending a long-term plan focusing on maximizing the use of present and future resources, usability, scalability (the ease of adding new hardware and software), stability (ie computers that work 99% of the time) and sustainability. Too often, technology improvements meant bringing in a few new computers and hoping for the best. Instead, we wanted a long range plan that could accelerate Brandon's ability to immerse our students into educational technology and compete with the best the world over.
