Montemagno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km east of Turin and about 13 km northeast of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,214 and an area of 15.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Montemagno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) S.Stefano and S.Carlo.
Montemagno borders the following municipalities: Altavilla Monferrato, Casorzo, Castagnole Monferrato, Grana, Refrancore, and Viarigi.
