Miss Spain

Miss Spain or Miss España is a Spanish beauty pageant for young women. Early contests took place in Spain until the advent of civil war in 1936, followed by the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, which did not permit beauty pageants until 1961.
The contest is the Miss Spain beauty contest national Spain since 1929.
It is currently transmitting to the entire country by the chain Telecinco, from the resort Marina d'Or, in the province of Castellon.
Any woman who wants to participate in Miss Spain must appear before a provincial branches of the entity, and learn about the requirements needed for this year, as well as methods for selection to be carried out in that province. Once selected by a delegation, they will represent their province in the contest. Over a month, after culminating to the grand final evening in which they will select the new Miss Spain. During these days leading up to the big show, the national beauty candidates do cultural activities in the country.
