[edit] Career

[edit] World Championship Wrestling (1993)

Prior to entering the WWF, Hallick had a brief run in World Championship Wrestling as Bruiser Mastino in 1993.[1]

[edit] World Wrestling Federation (First run, 1995)

In the WWF, the Mantaur gimmick involved Hallick dressing as a bull. Mantaur's antics included charging, mauling, and mooing at opponents.[2] He was managed by Jim Cornette.[3]

Mantaur made his WWF TV debut in January 1995. He wrestled in his only pay-per-view match at the 1995 Royal Rumble and lasted almost 10 minutes in the Royal Rumble match before being eliminated by Lex Luger.[4] He also wrestled in a qualifying match for the 1995 King of the Ring tournament. He was pinned by Bob "Spark Plug" Holly and eliminated from the tournament.[5]

During his brief stint in the promotion he wrestled such superstars as Duke Droese, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Man Mountain Rock, and Bob Holly, losing to most. He served as a lumberjack in the Lumberjack match between Sycho Sid and Diesel at In Your House 2.[6]

[edit] Extreme Championship Wrestling (1995)

He had a late 1995 stint in ECW, wrestling under the name Bruiser Mastino and entering the ring dressed in full gangster attire, carrying a violin case with him. He wrestled at two ECW supercards, losing to Hack Meyers at December to Dismember 1995 and defeating El Puerto Ricano at Holiday Hell 1995.[7] Hallick also used the ring name Terminator Mastino when wrestling in Australia.[8]

[edit] World Wrestling Federation (Second run, 1996)

Hallick returned to the WWF in 1996 in the role of Goldust's bodyguard.[8] He appeared with Goldust at In Your House 7. After Goldust lost to the Ultimate Warrior, Hallick tried to attack the Warrior. The Warrior overpowered Hallick and body slammed him.[9]

[edit] United States Wrestling Association (1997)

Hallick later worked in the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) as Tank, a member of The Truth Commission.[8] He won the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship on March 15, 1997 by defeating Jerry Lawler.[10] He dropped the belt back to Lawler in a rematch seven days later, however.[10] Later that spring, Tank was involved in a controversy surrounding the USWA Tag Team Championship. The Interrogator and Recon, Tank's stablemates in the Truth Commission, held the title. Tank substituted for The Interrogator in a match, and his team dropped the belts to Nick Dinsmore and Flash Flanagan.[11] The title change was declared invalid, however, as Tank was not a tag team champion.[11]

Hallick is now employed as a repo-man in Omaha, Nebraska.[citation needed]
